We support our neighbors from Ukraine in this dark time. Here in Poland we still remember horrors of war from our grandparents' stories. You can read the original statement below. This means that every sale of our game in those regions would be helping wage this war. Taxes from sales of games on Steam go back to the country where the sale has taken place. Again, this is not an action aimed at Russian and Belarussian players, although it affects them. Supporters will still receive all the content. Owners of the game will continue to be able to play it. Since then we have joined other studios and halted sales of Book of Demons in Russia and Belarus until further notice. We received a lot of angry and grateful feedback both from Russians supporting and hating this war. Victory awaits!īeing locked to four directions, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ghosts that charge at you like rams, the levels feel worthless, monster spell casting makes them invincible, some monster self heal making group battles retarded, the hidden monsters make full clears stupid and long, the movement feels janky not to mention since monsters are free to move as they please it is realy easy to be trapped in by them, the monster shields at first were kinda fun which turned into tedious clicking on a lot of monsters later on, monsters will easily trap you with blockades, the mana required for most cards scales way too high to be helpfull, the cauldron price scales way too high, being attack by range off screen also not being able to dodge ranged attacks because of four directional movement, the monsters hp starts to out scale your damage fast, and the 2nd boss takes whatever little power you have in your cards and litteraly RIPS THEM AWAY FROM YOUR CHARACTER.Update : We posted this statement and raised the price in order to draw the attention of Russian players to our statement so they could see what is happening in Ukraine in their name. Learn what your skills do and build your character properly. Ignoring the weak points above, there is a lot of fun expecting you further down the dungeons. Here, the rare magical equipment you can get will give you 1 Mana point, which is stupid by itself. In Diablo, I can get a piece of equipment that gives 200 mana points to my Fighter, and it allows me to use more magic than before. There is no satisfaction in getting items with stupid little impact in the game. Other useless magical bonus exist, making the game less attractive than it could be. Just 1 bonus is a joke, and there is nothing magical about it. If the devs wanted this to be a thing to be considered, the initial bonus should be 5, escalating to 7 and 10 in the later levels. No idea why it was invented actually, since healing becomes a real problem.Īnother bad point is that some items magical abilities make them give you 1 to 3 HP or Mana points, which are useless by itself. The Roguelike mode is strangely unwinnable to me. All classes have interesting playthroughs and builds to invest, and, man, I had a blast as an archer with infinity arrows of fire, ice, and poison to precisely target enemies accordingly to their weakness.Īfter defeating the Archdemon, you gain access to a Free Play mode where you still can level up and build your hero. The idea is pretty simple: a Diablo game that can be played as SUPERHOT if you want, where the equipment, skills, and potions are cards with uses or cooldown that you aim at targets. The most amazing simple game I have come across in forever!
